Hey Tommy, What happened at Oshkosh? I never met anyone like that there. I always said Oshkosh attracted the best people in the world. We spend the whole week there every year.

Hay Tommy

If love planes stay with it. I have been at this for 21 years. and have worked in all fields manufacturing to airlines to corporate & now mostly experimental helping people finish and fly their dream aircraft. To the people at this end of aviation its more than a J O B

I am 36 and changing careers back to aviation.  However, after meeting some of the rudest, arrogant pilots and aviation folks at Oshkosh I wonder if I have made a mistake.  Can anyone please advise?  I hope that the whole Av-Community isn't this way.   Thanks

As the first Avionic engineer to join the "chat" I would like to give a bit a background. I have been in aviation since 1971. Yes I am old.
I have tried several times to do my A & P but every time I get somewhere to do it, I get a position away from the nearest training school. I am now in Ghana & would attempt it again if I could do it online. And of course if I have the money for it.
