This from AIN:

NBAA 2011 Deemed ‘Highly Successful’
As the 64th NBAA Convention closed yesterday, association president and CEO Ed Bolen deemed it a “highly successful” show. “What we are seeing is that the show is providing real value to the business aviation community, even in these challenging economic times,” he said. “The convention continues to be a must-attend event for anyone whose passion or profession involves business aviation.” According to NBAA, the three-day show in Las Vegas drew 26,077 attendees, 7 percent more than last year’s convention; 1,106 exhibitors, a 2-percent increase from a year ago; and 101 aircraft on display, including 85 at the sold-out static display at Henderson Executive Airport, five inside the Las Vegas Convention Center and 11 at the first-ever outdoor static display adjacent to the convention center. Notably, international registration was up more than 23 percent from last year, with nearly 4,000 representatives from 88 different countries present at NBAA 2011. “By every key measure, this year’s convention met or exceeded NBAA’s expectations,” Bolen concluded. “Equally important, the level of enthusiasm we’ve seen from show participants tells us that their expectations were met or exceeded as well.”

You have to watch this all the way to the end.. Make sure you read the text around it also.
You have to watch to the end to discover which performers are the Holograms.

How to Volunteer -PC

All Production Crew Volunteers make application, are trained, and then approved in specific areas.
We have information and photos of everyone on the crew.

In order to volunteer to participate on the FAA Production Crew you need to:
(Some you have alreday accomplished)

1.    Review the Studio web site and get familiar with the information on that site. http://faaproductionstudios.com/
2.    Be sure and watch the video on the main menu in the TV top right - "A Day in the Life of a Volunteer"
3.    Fill out an application on the Studio web site at: http://faaproductionstudios.com/application/faa_production_applicat...
4.    Order a crew shirt from the web site at: CTRL + Click to follow link"">http://faaproductionstudios.com/Sh...
5.    Advise us of your interest.  Do you want to work as a talent, tech, or a support crew member.
There is no pressure.  We want to assist people to learn and improve their skills while producing safety presentation.
6.    Each area can become very involved.. This is up to you. We need help: daily, weekly, and monthly.
(A great deal can be done at home!)
7.    Have your photo made and Studio ID issued.  (This is only needed and valid at the Lakeland or Orlando facilities and during
the SUN 'n FUN  or other events that you are assigned to).
8.    You are in a continual training process as much and often as you have time.
(You should be issued  part 1 of the crew book .) Many of the terms are from ITVA.
A lot of our training is accomplished at trade shows at various time and locations and through FMPTA.
(Florida Motion Picture and Television Association)
9.    If you work at the Lakeland or Orlando Studio   -You need to go through  the basic OSHA  / Safety walk through.
It takes about 30-45 min for each facility.

I hope this answers some of your basic questions.
