Steve gave his Acro talk at the IAC building. They have a nice porch/gazebo area and he had a power point presentation. There where also some of the participants there. He showed all the trailers plus talked about the things they learned.

Tried to get to the Acro Camp talk with Steve Tupper, but was across campus and missed that too. Exactly where and when was it? (Just want to reconstruct the crime scene for next year)

I wish the UCAP guys would have come by Podapalooza, it was a blast with so many aviation podcasters there the cops came by! Well actually it was "Da Blooze Bros" but it was a heck of a party. By the way, you might enjoy Flighttime Radio too. Check us out at www.flighttimeradio.com .

One of the highlights of OSH2011 was the UCAP Beer Bash Meetup.  If you don't listen to www.uncontrolledairspace.com's weekly podcast you should.  Great guys, timely topics, and discussed in "easy to dance with" terms.  Yeah, it's a pitch, but I'm only one of "The Faithful".  You'll be glad you did.

This was my 4th Airventure in a row! It's getting to the point that I feel like I know a lot of peop0le there. I will say one thing though, if you fly in, 1800 FT AND 100 KNOTS!!! Nuff said,,,,

Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't gone to EAA Oshkosh to make it a Must go next year. This was my first time and won't be my last. I loved it! Loop Aerospace

At AirVenture 2011, the HangarChat team ran a raffle for a chance to win the grand prize of a 42" HD plasma TV. The winner was announced at 5pm on Sunday 31st July.

And The Winner Is... Cory Behounek! Congratulations to Cory!

Here are some photos of him collecting his prize at the HangarChat booth at AirVenture.

First timer but did not get to land there.  Stopped at Juneau for fuel and overnight stay and following day (7/23) weather was too bad.  So still need to fly in next year.  I attended step aerobics each day, many forums and of course visited all the vendors.  I placed a request for a custom panel for my Zodiac 601 XLB.  Departed on Sunday 7/31.  Flight times up and back were a little over 8 hours in my 172G.  Tail wind both ways so I guess it is not impossible, only rare.
