With gas prices as high and unstable as ever, a lot of us are looking for ways to reduce cost and cut spending in some areas so we can have more money for the other things we love to do.

A good place to reduce cost if you are a GA pilot is in the AV fuel prices. http://fbofuelprices.com/ is an iPhone/iPad app that finds the cheapest fuel prices in an area. And it really does pay for it self, with one fill-up. just to think we fill up 45G of 100LL. at 5.91 a G that is $236.4 if you are able to save .15c a G by finding it somewhere cheaper. then you already saved 22.8 minus the 3.99 of the app. you still saved almost 20. and the app is a one time fee. I'm up for saving $20 any day.
