Looking to get into Aviation Industry...sales, maintenance tracking, operations......suggestions??

Hello all!!  I've been in the medical field (operations, purchasing, insurance) for over 11 years but am really interested in the aviation industry.  Hoping to use some of my previous skills in this industry.  I have outside experience by hanging with my fiance whom is an A&P Mechanic for the Army and civilian side.  I have been able to pick up knowledge through friends that work for charter services and fbo's also.

Where should I start?  Any companies looking for operations management, sales...etc.

Thanks in advance!

There are always sales positions available with companies that make aircraft components and etc. I work for a connector manufacturer called Milnec (www.milnec.com) that makes cylindrical connectors. We have all kinds of customers, from military to heavy industry, but I frequently get calls from aerospace industry people and private plane owners. My point is, even though the company is not directly involved in aviation, I do get to work in the field some. I'm sure you could find something similar.

I know quite a few people who have had great success in providing aircraft detailing services. I used to work as a detailer myself, before coming to work for a manufacturer of polishing supplies.
