Does anyone know whats happening with Aeroperlas suspends operations in Panama. Any rumors or hearsay of why might happen?  

Will AirPanama buy their operations?  Is domestic travel in Panama a floored business model - and will AirPanama go the same route?

Panama tenders Airport Works for $3 million

The Civil Aviation Authority is putting out to tender works at the Marcos A. Gelabert airport .The works include the study, design and construction of parking spaces and the rehabilitation of the access road to the airport terminal located in the northwest of Panama City. The approval meeting is scheduled for June 6, 2011 and submission of proposals for the June 22, 2011.

i have just heard that in England a flight school has banned the use of High visibility Jackets at the airport - another point of view I suppose

What do you think about wearing them at the airport? Is it good for safety or just another regulation?
