Delta Air Lines is striving to overhaul the way it communicates with its pilots. Part of that effort includes the possibility of using Apple iPads as electronic flight bags. Steve Dickson, senior vice president of flight operations at Delta, said Delta has deployed 22 iPads for pilots to test. The devices are loaded with various software, and pilots are able to customize them by downloading other applications. FlightGlobal.com (U.K.)
