Incident: Emirates A332 near Prague on Jul 14th 2011, hail strike

An Emirates Airbus A330-200, registration A6-EAP performing flight EK-51 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Munich (Germany), was enroute at FL340 about 30nm south of Vienna (Austria) when the crew decided to divert to Prague (Czech)
after it flew through a zone of hail causing cracked windshields and damage to the nose cone's paint. The airplane landed safely on Prague's runway 24 about 40 minutes after the decision to divert. Information shared by FAA Producion Crew Member.
