15 month old Asher is the picture of a delightfully happy baby. However, Asher was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease and suffers with many implications including seizures and lack of energy. Before boarding his flight for Washington D.C. Asher was giggling and crawling with excitement. Accompanied by his mom Sarah and dad Wes, Asher was being flown by Angel Flight pilot, Doug Ellis into North Carolina to link up with their second Angel Flight pilot, Ned Rapp.
