Seen some shooters in press gaggles with still cameras on stedi cams. I've noticed huge camera movement. Even more than a heavier video camera. Same rules apply: Can get away handheld shooting wide on moving subjects; sticks for long-lens or stationary subjects. Even with vibration resistant lenses.

Well I finally shot some today with the D7000 .. I think I will sleep on it before I scare myself.  : )
