that was my friends flying, most the time they are cruising around 75 to 90 when playing in the fields. these guys have a blast flying the Gyro's  Adam and his Wife from Hanger Chat got to go for a ride at bensen days and Loved it.  Gyros are a lot of fun, but you must get proper training,as they don't fly like a fixed wing and not like a helicopter, kind of a mixture of both. once you get the feel for them they are pretty easy to fly.  go to www.pra.org for more info and to see where the next PRA fly-in is.  mentone Indiana is the big national conventions fly-in. will be a lot of helicopters there this year along with Gyros and PPC.
