Thanks for accepting, please take a look at an aviation book titled "On the Wings of Eagles" on amazon.com, kindle.  It is a true story about a barnstormer in the thirties who became the National Flight Instructor of the Year in 1981.  It is humorous and I know people who cried reading it.  It's only $3.99  Welcome to the aviation world, Jim  By the way, part of his flying was at Vichy, Mo.
