Event Description

The UPS Plane Pull presented by ResCare is an exciting event to help support
Special Olympics athletes. Teams of 20 sign up in advance of the event, then
must raise a minimum of $1,000 (or $50 for each team member) to participate. On
the day of the event teams take their turn to see who can pull a massive
147,000-pound UPS Boeing 757 cargo plane 12 feet in the shortest time. Winners
are crowned in men's, women's and co-ed divisions and there are additional
prizes for the Top Individual Fundraiser and Top Fundraising Team as well for
team spirit and best team Plane Pull T-shirt. All proceeds benefit Special
Olympics Kentucky athletes.
