Marathon Key, FL - if heading down to Key West - The Island Fish Company has an FAA approved Heliport located at Northern tip of the property. The coordinates are N24° 43.991, W81° 01.156. One mile East of the airport on the north side of US1. The heliport is first come, first served.

Food is ok - usual burgers etc but also they have fresh fish salads etc - open from b'fast all day. The setting makes it a good place - dine right on the water and having the heliport makes it super convenient for heli pilots.

Best burger in the Caribbean? @ MacDuff's Beach bar&grill on Norman's Cay, Bahamas. Just next to the landing strip.

Don't miss the Fish Fry in Nassau, yeah baby ...check out "Oh Andros"...Finest Conch Salad and Cracked Conch!  On the out islands...the best way to get good bahamian food is at the Mom and Paps restaurants, like "Hanks" in Fresh Creek Andros which is right on the water, that is if you enjoy to interact with locals. I personally stay away from the tourist places , so I found a lot of jewels in the Out Islands like "moms" on Harbour Island Some of the even still cook over open fire!

Check out Chat 'N' Chill in Exuma(Stocking Island). Chat 'N' Chill The freshest conch salad in the Bahamas. You can feed their pet stingray as well.

Bimini Beach Club(Bimini, of course) has an amazing chef and food! Stuffed lobster tail was incredible.

I stayed at Green Turtle Resort and Club (Green Turtle Cay, Abaco) and we put our dinner order in around lunch time before we went exploring. We came back and had a great dinner. The next morning I had a Breakfast Sandwich made with homemade bread, Bacon, Fried Egg, Lettuce, and Tomato. I am still trying to recreate it a year later... There is a fly-in for Halloween so they may be all booked up. Bahamas Fly-ins

If you go to Freeport stop by the Our Lucaya Resort and there is a beach shack right on the beach run by a local that has fresh conch salad, sea food, and a pretty tasty hamburger. It is on the resort property but it isn't part of the resort. Bring cash, no card accepted.

Feel free to contact me if you need any help or more places.
