Michael there is also a great sub shop on 120th street and around 142nd avenue called Tamiami Subs, best sub shop in the kendall area! Give the Garlic Steak Sub a try, the girls that work there will agree!

Michael, just across the airport there is a plaza with several restaurants. Sergio's (Cuban restaurant), there is a new one (i don't remember the name) Mediterranean cuisine. Right at the airport there is a small cafe with Latin/Caribbean food. I recommend to try the Mediterranean.

How many folks here regularly fly into/out of KTMB? Anyone based there?

Did you know that since 1995, approximately $16 million has been spent on airport improvements including high-mast safety-and-security lighting, repaving and grooving of all runways and taxiways, new airfield signage, widened run-up areas, and a new Customs Private aircraft clearance facility?

I can't tell you which one is the best but I think you will like Falcon Trust (www.falcontrustair.com). Very nice facilities and very friendly staff.
