Hi Everyone. Good to see all the activity. We've been working out of town. Tim ferried a Stearman from CT to FL and I went along for the ride. It was a wonderful trip. We saw some beautiful countryside and met some great folks at the airports along the way. Then went to a ranch in Texas and to fly with a pilot in his Stearman and Cub. Both great trips. We're getting ready for a busy winter season instructing in the Cub and Stearman and giving biplane rides. Hope to see you here!
Kent, your project sounds wonderful. We look forward to seeing updated photos. The old saying, one project leads to another probably holds true in Stearman restoration too!
We are really excited. We hoped to have it flying this summer, but everything is taking at the very least twice as long as we plan on. I'll keep everyone updated with more pictures as things move along. Thank you for the supportive comments.

Just added a couple of wing pictures to my profile. Going home this weekend to help put the engine together.

That's a nice looking PT-17. Do you have the history on the airplane? Our is a very original N2S-5. We are going back with the Navy colors. I'll get some more recent pictures posted on my profile.

The Stearman group got pretty quiet. I hope that everyone hasn't decided to hibernate for the winter. We are still plugging away on our project. The wings and center section are all painted and basically ready to go on the airplane. Right now the engine is the main priority. Sounds like Dad should have the accessory case done today and start putting the crank and master rod back together. Hope to hear from some other Stearman enthusiasts.

Hi Adam,
We were unable to make it. I hear 139 Stearmans attended...a great turn out. Hoping to get some photos from friends that attended.
