Hi everyone,

As I just bought my Stearman ( 8 months ago ) I'm still getting used to it, and I was wondering what would be the normal cruise speed ( IAS ) at 1850 RPM with the Continental 220 HP ! I'm only getting 86 mph flying at about 2000 ft AGL ... is that the right number?? How fast do you fly?

I will be there With N4921n heading out on saturday from west palm and stopping in at the Guntersville AL fly in then heading to Galesburg Tuesday

Dad and I are probably going to be there.  We're not completely sure yet.  We'll see how the project is progressing.

Hi Everyone,

The Stearman fly-in this year is a big event.  It's a great fly-in.  Stearmans are flying everyday.  There are fly outs for lunch daily to differen airports in the area.  Events and compitetions.  Great music and we hear a great airshow scheduled for Saturday.

The Stearman fly-in at Galesburg, Illinois is September 5-10.  They are hoping to get 200 Stearmans this year for the 40th anniversary of the event.  The website for the fly-in is www.stearmanflyin.com

Next year it will be the 75th Anniversary of the Piper Cub and it will be a feature of Oshkosh 2012 - who will be going - let all the Piper Cub owners know and get them together - anyone have any ideas?
