Here is my Commuter being tested with the 320 pound pilot on a hot day. he was pulling max collective and would run out of tail rotor.
Victoria,I have been asking $29,000 for it ready to fly and current inspection. I have a Video of it on youtube of it lifting a 320 pound pilot on a hot day. max pilot weight is 300 pounds so i was suprised it even got off the ground.
I restored it for a guy that was going to buy it from me as a time builder, mid way though the rebuild the guy backed out. leaving me with a nice Helicopter I am not trained or legal to fly. I am selling this one to buy a 2 seat project I know about.
C.H.R.I Safari has invited me to bring to to Sun-N-Fun and display with their new Safari 400 model. feel Free to E-mail me at heiligenterprises at aol.com and I can send you some pic of it. if I was trained and legal I would not sell it.
Hi Ya'll, hoping to be moving to Florida this year if all goes well, planing to build me a back yard landing pad. presently own a rare 1968 Helicom Commuter H-1B, it is what the C.H.R.I. baby belle/ Safari helicopter evolved from. I will have it on display at both P.R.A. Bensen days fly-in at Wauchla Fla. march 23-25 and then at Sun-N-Fun march 27th-april 1. hope to meet some local pilots when in the area. still a student pilot so I won't be flying the Commuter and it is for sale if anyone wants a nice time builder. anyway come on out and check out this Rare part of Homebuilt Helicopter history.
