Being a PPL my most memorable flight so far was one of my first Cross Country Solo flights. I was about 20 miles from the airport and had just called them when they came back to tell me the Red Arrows would be fllying 'underneath' me at 500feet in approx two minutes. Two minutes later, ( was at 1500feet) they flew across in front of me and as they went to go past the Malvern Hills, they put the smoke on. It was just a training run and nothing in the NOTAMS but a memorable experience ! :)
