Hi Gary-James,

Not sure what you mean by who owns the closest Stearman in Tampa!  Are you looking for training or just to meet someone that owns one, or both!

Hi Joost,
Wow...I love the Cream and Orange, very vintage.  A young girl from Germany made the Video.  She flies around Germany with her father in a Cub and hopes to be a pilot one day.  Great photographer too. We were unable to make the Fly-in.  I hear about 138 Stearmans were there.   Hope things are good with you.  Any plans to visit the US?

Hi Tim & Peggy,

Just added some more pictures of the Stearman rebuild project.

We are close to fitting the wings.

Liked the FoF fly-by video.

Did you attend the Stearman fly-in?

Got to meet up with my parents at Blakesburg Friday afternoon for the National Antique Airplane Association Fly-in and headed for home Sunday morning.  They had a great turnout there even though the weather was not real cooperative.  Someone mentioned close to 300 airplanes went through over the course of the event.  There were about 20 Stearmans.  We decided we need to devote the time to the project and elected not to do Galesburg this year.

I flew my C-150 into Ottumwa and got some pictures of one of the original Navy hangars.  There are a couple pictures of the hangar on my profile.   There are still quite a few Navy buildings left.  One of which appears to be the original admin building.  Hopefully, next year we can spend a little more time looking around the old buildings and get more pictures.
