Who has a tracking system on board?

Hi all

I'm conducting a bit of an adhoc survey of Hangar Chat members to find out who have tracking systems on board. Do you have a SPOT or a spidertracks or something else? If not, would you like to have one and why? Thanks for the feedback!

No, nothing and I've never flown an a/c thus equipped. (knowingly!)

Thanks Adam and Mark - Mark - do you know much about tracking systems? Are this technology being talked about amongst your pilot friends?

Dont hear anyone talk about them unless you bring it up - but they are invaluable - its a bit like insurance - or spare air when flying over water

I know if I owned a flight school, I would want it.

I am not yet a pilot, but I would not be oposed to it. I think it adds a lot of safety for the pilot, and assurance for the owner. Plus my friends and family can track where I am (with spot at least).
