Hi Joshua, Piper aircraft are great trainers and make wonderful touring machines too!. I learned in Piper Cherokee 140, Warrior, and Archer. I then found a partnership in a Cherokee 180 which I will be flying to Oshkosh for the 4th consecutive year. Really all you need to do is stop in at a flight school and ask questions, they will be glad to talk to you.
