NBC says it has reached the $1 billion mark in ad sales for the London Olympics, topping the $850 million mark it reached with the Beijing Olympics. Seth Winter, executive vice president for sales for NBC Sports Group, said TV sales were up $100 million for London and that digital sales had risen from $20 million in 2008 to $60 million this year.

Young on July 11, 2012 at 8:32pm: AirVenture (Oshkosh) more than 200 yellow J-3 Cub aircraft will be landing at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis., for the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture 2012. As part of the "Cubs 2 Oshkosh" program, the EAA is gathering the 1930s-era airplanes, Cub artifacts and memorabilia, as well as flight demonstrations to celebrate Piper Aircraft's iconic Cub.
